Project Overview
At the top of Houston’s Astoria tower, a high-rise penthouse spanning 5,000 square feet redefines contemporary luxury. With sweeping panoramic views across 270 degrees, this residence merges architectural precision with interior refinement. Schmalenbach, in collaboration with Eggersmann, delivered tailored solutions that extend from the high-gloss lacquered kitchen to the fully equipped master suite.
Design & Build
The interior language is distinctly European – clean lines, tonal palettes and integrated solutions that prioritise both elegance and utility. Handless cabinetry, concealed mechanism and soft lighting unify the design across the home.
The kitchen is anchored by high-gloss lacquer cabinetry, a spacious central island with seating and a full suite of Miele appliances. In the dining area, a floating credenza offers display without excess, while the bar combines refrigeration, storage and seating in one seamless installation. A contrasting home office introduces dark wood veneer cabinetry with minimal fronts and integrated LED lighting, balancing warmth and modernity.
