Tucked away in the lush enclave of Al Barari, one of Dubai’s most prestigious residential communities, this bespoke home renovation redefines everyday luxury. The project balances timeless elegance with refined practicality, seamlessly blending aesthetics with functionality. Designed and executed by Schmalenbach in partnership with Al Gurg Living, the residence reflects the client’s vision of a home that is both effortlessly elegant and highly functional.
Design & Build
The design journey began with a clear ambition: transform a traditional layout into a modern sanctuary defined by flow, minimalism and material harmony. Every space was tailored to the architecture and the client’s lifestyle, with custom-made cabinetry, premium wardrobe systems and concealed storage solutions forming the foundation.
The material palette was selected to create a quiet sophistication. Matte lacquer finishes, natural veneers and metallic accents convey understated elegance, while integrated LED lighting enhances visibility and warmth throughout. From wardrobes to hidden compartments, each feature is thoughtfully crafted to elevate both form and function.
Functionalities & Features
Bespoke wardrobes tailored to each space using Schmalenbach’s modular system, with soft-close mechanisms, integrated LED lighting, and customised compartments. Concealed storage solutions maintain a seamless aesthetic, while the refined mix of matte lacquer finishes, natural veneers and metallic accents adds understated elegance. Every detail reflects precision German craftsmanship, creating interiors that are timeless, functional and effortlessly sophisticated.
